2024 Tar/Chip/Sealing Streets Project
Lewisburg Borough’s 2024 Tar/Chip/Sealing Streets Project is expected to be undertaken on Friday, August 2, 2024 or Monday, August 5, 2024 depending upon weather. The project will focus on the following streets in the Borough’s Fourth Ward:
- Matlack Avenue from Buffalo Road to the Wendy’s parking lot
- Pennsylvania Avenue from Route 15 to the Borough line
- Maclay Avenue from Buffalo Road to the Dead End
- Shikelimo Lane from Buffalo Road to Maple Street
- Maple Street from Logan Avenue to the Dead End
- Logan Avenue from Ikeler Street to the Dead End
- Ikeler Street from Route 15 to Maclay Avenue
The Borough’s Public Works Crew will be posting the streets as “No Street Parking” and posting “Fresh Oil” signs. Lewisburg Borough anticipates that streets will be closed for a short period of time during the material application process. However, we expect streets will reopen quickly once the material sets.
