Additional Week Scheduled for Leaf Collection/Weather Permitting

If the winter weather cooperates, the Borough is planning one additional week of leaf collection Monday, December 3rd – Friday, December 7th.  Leaf collection will occur on your normal street cleaning day.  Please place leaves (no brush, no limbs, no bushes, etc.) at the curb by 6 AM.

And remember, if the weather doesn’t cooperate, Borough residents can self-haul their leaves to the Borough’s brush pile in the St. Anthony Street Recreation Complex on Wednesdays from 8 AM to 4 PM and on Saturdays from 8 AM until Noon. Identification showing you are a Borough resident will be needed.

Leaf Collection Suspended

Due to the recent snow event, the Borough will immediately suspend leaf collection. It was originally scheduled to end Friday, November 23rd. However, if the weather cooperates in December and there are leaves that remain, there may be a final round of leaf collection on street cleaning days. If this occurs, the Borough will also announce on their Facebook page.

REMINDER: Residents can self-haul their leaves to the Borough’s brush pile in the St. Anthony Street Recreation Complex on Wednesdays from 8 AM to 4 PM and on Saturdays from 8 AM until Noon. Identification showing you are a Borough resident will be needed.

Borough Office Closed Wednesday, November 14th

As a result of the parking lot construction currently underway, there will be no public access to the Borough Building, 55 South Fifth Street, from 11:30 AM through 4:30 PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
